So-Cal, 6 Foot, blond hair, blue eyes. I post political and historical photos pertaining to National Socialism and World War 2 along with whatever I find interesting. My grandfather was in the 3rd armored division SS 'Totenkopf' and was a Panzerkampfwagen IV tank driver, and my great uncle was a Scharfschützen. What you see is what you get. Exhausted machine gun crew man. Looks like the 8mm rounds may have been the “enameled” covered rounds that caused many a jam in the MG38 and 42’s…Gunners preferred the traditional “Brass” rounds and hoarded them for engagements where they could not afford to have jams…
